Request data deletion

This page explains how to request the deletion of any personal data that Workplit (developed by José Manuel Rodríguez Sánchez, NIF 45530964A — Spain) holds about you.

What data Workplit holds

Local app data — your time entries, clients, projects, tasks, rates, reports and backups stay only on your device. We never receive this data, so we cannot delete it for you. Uninstalling the app or using Settings → Reset all data deletes it instantly.

Subscription data on RevenueCat — only if you have ever purchased the optional Pro plan: a pseudonymous app user ID, the purchase token issued by Google Play / App Store, your subscription state (active plan, renewal/expiry) and basic device metadata (OS version, app version, country). No name, no email, no app content.

Email correspondence — only if you have written to , or : your email address and the content of your messages.

Payment details — we never receive your card or banking data. Payments are processed exclusively by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).

How to request deletion — step by step

Local app data: uninstall Workplit from your device, or open the app and tap Settings → Reset all data. This removes everything stored on your device immediately. No request to us is needed.

Subscription data and email correspondence: send an email to with the subject "Data deletion request — Workplit". Include the email address you used to contact us (if applicable) and confirm that you want all stored personal data deleted. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is retained

Deleted on request: the pseudonymous app user ID at RevenueCat, purchase tokens, subscription history records, the content of your support emails and your contact email address.

Retained: invoice and receipt records related to your purchases, where Spanish tax law (Ley 58/2003) and accounting law require us to keep them for up to 4 years from the end of the relevant fiscal year. These records are pseudonymized where possible and are not accessible for any other purpose.

Cancelling the subscription itself

To cancel an active Pro subscription, use the store's own manager: Google Play → Account → Subscriptions, or App Store → your account → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops further renewals; it is a separate operation from data deletion.
